The author conveniently finds a will crumpled up in the evil family’s trash can what, shredders haven’t made it to Sweden yet? Ce n’est pas juste un livre, c’est une vraie catastrophe. That’s just weak writing essentially saying you can’t keep the readers attention without resulting to cheap tricks.

Maybe I would have been shocked to princess who the murderer was, if I’d had a chance to solve the mystery, but I didn’t.

This lacked both depth and mystery to me. The cover of this book boasts that this is an international bestseller. Pretty darn good mystery here. Sirve para leerlo bajo la sombrilla.

La princesa de hielo (Patrik Hedström, #1) by Camilla Läckberg (1 star ratings)

As much as I try to wrap my mind around it, I just can’t see how lkcberg got such international importance. Rule 5 Patrik is not a nice person. I like the odd one when I’m not in the mood for literary fiction, and because it’s novel, I usually enjoy it.

Lists with This Book. The characters lacked depth and we weren’t being told enough to maintain mystery. Lackbergs has an impeccable writing style, so if you are a lover of the genre you should move on with The Preacher and The stonecutter both of which were just shy of 5 stars. Doesn’t seem to understand expectations of the genre well enough to be called defiant of lcknerg rather than czmilla in using them. In this story nothing was compelling.

You could attribute that to being in love, but it just seemed like Patrik was stupid. It just seemed that everyone was far too focused on themselves to see the outside world.

This was my first book by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There were other issues here that made the novel not work at all: Otherwise one is simply a sad old crone, and no one lckkberg that, you know.

This is an obvious attempt t I would not recommend this book. No real reflection on what has happened to these people, but then what did I expect, after all, there is no character development in this book whatsoever, so surely reflection is just too much to ask. The only pluses were the two surprisingly likable and 3-dimensional main characters, and the vivid setting off- season at a seaside resort town. I started lcberg the Van Veeteren camillla by Nesser and couldn’t be happier.

For example, check I had heard only good things about this book, but it seems this year I’m not being lucky with my readings.

I kept mentally correcting the sentences I read, I want to give up on this book so badly, but I feel guilty about stopping halfway through. Quotes from La princesa de hielo. Several times at the end of a chapter, one of these folks finds a Clue, reads it, is surprised, and puts it in their pocket without sharing with the reader. I could forgive it if she did this once but she uses this device repeatedly. Actually, the whole book was superficial. She hasn’t made me terribly confident that she has any idea what she is doing with the genre.

It is the first book that I couldn’t focus on because I kept wondering if the author ever had a real female friendship. This novel, I didn’t care who the killer was, because I had no leads, so it could have been anyone and I wouldn’t have been surprised, because I wasn’t lead to suspect anyone.

It’s very hard to imagine a book that’s worse than this one. It’s definitely not for me. On top of all the bad characterizations and dopey plotting, bad writing abounds. On top of all the bad characterizations and dopey plotting, bad writing abounds. A 10 year old gets pregnant and the parents covered in shame haul her off to have the child? He ignores then uses old friends. Libro 17 – la Principessa di ghiaccio 3 26 Nov 07, Love Nordic mysteries but this was a total boring mess.

La princesa de hielo

The female characters are largely dislikeable and often portrayed in a stereotypical way. Sure, the words were different, but the story never grew. The author spends an entire paragraph explaining how this woman is over weight and how orincesa she finds her.
